Prerequisites: GFA 1040 and 1 Post-Production Specialty Craft Course, and Application. A survey of theory and practices of film and television sound design through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on exercises using Avid Pro Tools. Emphasis will be placed on understanding industry standards and employer expectations for professional film and television post-production.
