GEOG 3700. Human Impacts on the Environment. 3 Hours.
Prerequisites: Junior standing or permission of the instructor. An examination of human impact on the environment, through the lens of geography from historical and current perspectives. The course examines issues such as the history of environmentalism, population growth, biodiversity, food, energy, deforestation, pollution (of air, land, and water), water resources, and climate changes.
