ELED 6060. Literacy I and Practicum. 3 Hours.
Prerequisites: ELED 6050, EDUC 6051 and 6052. Graded "Satisfactory" or "Unsatisfactory”. Intro to key concepts and strategies for developing literacy skills in elementary students, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Candidates will explore evidence-based practices, culturally responsive teaching, and equity-driven instructional aligned with Georgia State Standards.
