ELED 6060. Literacy I. 3 Hours.
Prerequisites: ELED 6050, EDUC 6051 and 6052. Introduction to key concepts and strategies for developing literacy skills in elementary students, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Candidates will explore evidence-based practices, culturally responsive teaching, and equity-driven instructional practices aligned with Georgia State Standards.
