CS 4121. Data Communications and Networks I. 3 Hours.
Prerequisites: CS 3410 with a grade of “C” or better. A study of the basic concepts of data communications and computer networks, emphasizing hands-on experience. Cloud computing, TCP/IP model and related protocols, packet switching, local area networks, and network security are addressed.
